Inteligent si extrem de bine educat - absolvent al Stockholm's Royal Institute of Technology - Dolph Lundgren este mai mult cunoscut pentru performantele sale sportive decat pentru capacitatile sale intelectuale. Campion international de kick-boxing, Lundgren a lucrat ca portar intr-un club de noapte din New York,pana cand a fost descoperit de un producator. Debutul sau cinematografic a fost in seria James Bond - View to a Kill (1984). A urmat rolul Drago, un rus care s-a batut in ring cu Sylvester Stallone in Rocky 4 (1985). Thor Pictures,casa sa de productii lucreaza in prezent la mai multe proiecte la care va participa si Dolph,fie direct ,fie indirect. Pe langa acest proiect, Lundgren mai lucreaza si la o carte de fitness si o colectie de imbracaminte sport masculina.Este casatorit cu Anette Qviberg cu care are doi copii.
